As part of the showmaking for Peter Gynt at the NT, I helped out in a team by working on the large astroturf patchwork floor. This involved cutting out and sticking down each individual patch of grass/felt by hand over the course of approximately 2 or 3 weeks.
Another aspect of the show involved me being given the challenge of completing this painted aeroplane with minimal guidance.
I scaled the plane up from the model piece, and set to work on drawing it out and tracing various parts that were similar across the 3 parts of the plane. I then had about 4 days to paint and finish it all off.
