Scenic Art Apprentice- National Theatre

I am currently training at the National Theatre as an apprentice scenic artist. This job also required me to attend New City College 1 day a week for the first year in order to obtain a Level 2 BTEC qualification in Design Support.

Beginners Drawing Course: at Art Academy, from April-June 2018, 10 sessions, included 4 life-drawing sessions. 

Life drawing: run by the Royal Academy of Arts, May 2018.

Guildhall School of Music and Drama: work experience placement for 2 weeks (June 2018), working on Fiddler on the Roof and Operamakers.

Risk Assessment Training: at the NT, 2018.

Hoist Training: at the NT, 2018.

Adobe Illustrator basic training 2019: completed a short 2-day course learning the basics of Adobe Illustrator.

QEST Scholar 2018/19: achieved funding from the Queen Elizabeth Scholarship trust for my apprenticeship. 

Portrait Painting course 2019: a week long course at LARA with Simon Watkins, learning to strategically paint portraits from life.

Apprentice of the Year 2019: winner of the Intermediate level apprentice category for London. 

A Levels: achieved a B in History, a C in Film Studies and a B in Fine Art (at Sacred Heart of Mary Girls' School in Upminster.)
